Glasgow City Council Welcome to Holyrood Secondary School

Fair Trade

What is Fair Trade?

  • Fair Trade means paying farmers in developing countries a fair price for their products

Fair Trade means that:

  • workers get fair wages
  • workers have better health
  • there is equal treatment and better pay for women
  • and an end to child labour.

Fair Trade means that:

  • the environment is not harmed
  • safer working conditions for workers
  • workers control their own lives and plan for the future

We are trying to make a difference in Holyrood by raising awareness and providing Fair Trade Products for staff and pupils to buy

Together we can make a difference.
