What is Fair Trade?
- Fair Trade means paying farmers in developing countries a fair price for their products
Fair Trade means that:
- workers get fair wages
- workers have better health
- there is equal treatment and better pay for women
- and an end to child labour.
Fair Trade means that:
- the environment is not harmed
- safer working conditions for workers
- workers control their own lives and plan for the future
We are trying to make a difference in Holyrood by raising awareness and providing Fair Trade Products for staff and pupils to buy
